Pintando paso a paso: Deathstroke

BMG: Analysis Deadshot (Suicide Squad)

Hi to everyone.
Turn finally for one of the characters with more importance in this new version of the Suicide Squad: Will Smith Deadshot, who is not only the member of the Task Force X most expensive within this Game Box (96/$400) up tu now but also it is of the three Floyd Lawton known to date, but only in reputation as the classic version still costs $200 more. The first thing to note is that the character of Deadshot, and not only this, has enough gallons to lead on the battlefield to this peculiar command, which of first means his immunity to the cranial pump. Outside the Suicide Squad, and as expected, only he can be hired by the bands of villains.
Again, in the Offensive side it is where we must focus all attention, specially in attacks from a distance. In his arsenal there are no long-range weapon does not prevent that remains the "best shooter in the world", since although shooting accuracy is one step behind the classic version, keeping the +1 to hit for being Ranged Master and can ignore a Blink! thanks to be Shooter (which can become all if he use his MG). Part of his offensive power is in the combination of their weapons attacking, as will now be seen:
  • From a moderate distance (up to 40 cm) he has his MG that guarantees to ignore the light restrictions thanks to Night Vision which gives the Scope of this (besides being able to ignore the Blinks!) but only for the shoots with this weapon.
  • Also from this average distance he can make use of his characteristic 9mm Twin Cannons, which maintain the same Traits as in his other two versions can even use it in melee (Light) although ROF 1. It is the only one of his weapon with more 1 ammo.
  • For short distances (20 cm) has his Guns, whose strong point is the ROF 4 of them.
But what makes this Deadshot is a real danger, although only once per game, is his Bullet Time (2SC) that will allow him to combine two of their weapons for use in the same attack (paying 2AC for each) and without seeing penalized his ROF by moving. This translated into dies means that would provide up to 4+3 in short range, or 3+2 in mid range ... even the Dark Knight should fear him!

At the time that Floyd has emptied all their magazines, thanks to the profile that is still quite suitable as a support in the melee thanks to his Attack 4 and Force 4+, either grabbing enemies or pushing them, especially if he are disputing an objective.

In the Defensive side is also someone to be reckoned with since his Defense 4 and Endurance 8 make him a complicated character to be taken down. In addition, 50% of attacks that can hit him and Floyd fails to block or avoid with Blinks! it has yet to note that the Kevlar Vest will absorb 1 damage of the attack, which makes him a really tough character.

Finally, in Support/Control side Deadshot proves to be the leader of the Suicide Squad allowing repeat checks failed Willpower among allies models that are separated within by 20 cm from him (Leadership).

In short, this is a Deadshot capable of causing damage easily end up with any (up to 14 injuries: 10 +4), especially with the Large characters like Solomon Grundy (impacting virtually all of them 2+ and injuring the same ), without having to expose the melee or give option to the opponent to avoid the attack (only the privileged with Dodge) as it is able to launch up to 7 dice in one ranged attack with his Bullet Time (2SC) may have moved even before to find a good shooting position (or after to get away from danger). Can ignore 1 Blink! at least (Shooter) and have a bonus of +1 to hit (Ranged Master) greatly improve his chances of success.

One of the most dangerous tricks of this Deadshot is to use his "double attack" coming out of a sewer (which has a total cost of 7 counters), so the Tunnel (1/C) strategy is suitable to force the opponent to control even further sewers unless he want to get a good scare as rain lead, although Vandalism (1/B) strategy can also be used to alleviate this and break a possible way out. But this is not the only way in which Deadshot can cause havoc in the enemy ranks, if Squadron has developed a fully formed by Free Agents, the rule "We're partners, for now ..." can be used to chain a second member well positioned (except the Boss can not be part of the chained pair, so in this case Floyd should not be who heads the group) to kill several enemies or focus on a heavyweight rival to leave headdress or, why not, even kill him.

In his path of destruction, Foyd should aim to reach his Ammo Crate once made use of his Bullet Time, and defend it to death, especially with the ROF 4 of his Guns although not all damage be lethal, and if any enemy sneaks and dispute, his Attack 4 and Force 4+ are useful for pushed him away (or grab to support his companions).

Given how expensive it is and even without ammunition has things to offer (stamina, support and control  of Ammo crate), is a perfect candidate to lead the Task Force X in the battlefield and therefore do not have to worry about his cranial pump. It even offers protection to his companions, 20cm or less of him, against Willpower checks (failed) as those carried out by the effects of hypnosis, thanks to his Leadership.

Greetings and we keep reading in La Biblioteca de Alfred and Reino de Juegos.

'Night of the Owls' Campaign

Hi there!
Some time ago we decided to play a mini-campaign about 'Night of the Owls' comics from New 52 (long life to this impasse).
The idea was to prepare some scenarios previous to the 'Night of the Owls' to be played during the morning and finish playing in the Batcave that afternoon. According to this, we chase four heros from the comics (Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl and Red Hood) and designed four scenarios to play against the most important characters from the Owls. Depending on the result of these scenarios, both teams would have advantages or disadvantages in the Batcave.
So, first of all we had to build the Batcave as you can see in this link.

Campaña 'La noche de los Búhos'

¡Buenas muchachada!

BMG: Analysis Captain Boomerang (Suicide Squad film)

Hi to everyone.
If the other day the ice broke with Diablo, today it is the turn to one of the Flash villain, and insurance give him many more war in his film: Captain Boomerang.

Beginning with his cost in points, again this is one of the Free Agents listed as cheap with only 48 points of reputation (2 less than Diablo), although again implies a cost of $200 dollars.
On the offensive side, again must emphasize his varied arsenal of Boomerangs, which was the case with the previous version, although in this case is not as extensive (for something costs 34/$150 less).

From a distance the feeling remains of using a weapon like the boomerang, representing the swing of this effect allowing repeat to impact (Master Marksman), and by Ricochet (1SC) can make, if his attack has impacted their objetive, It may leave rebounded to a new model in line of sight of the original objective, and can also benefit from Master Marksman. This film version of Digger comes with a new trait that will allow him to shoot without having to expose the opponent: Monitoring Device (1SC), which will allow him to shoot his Boomerangs with Remote Controlled besides winning himself Total Vision to the end round (also useful to protect of Sneak Attacks). In addition, all his distance Boomerangs still maintain their Short Range, which is one of the drawbacks of this character.

As far as armament are concerned, he has the already known Bladed Boomerang that will not only allow him to shoot even moving ROF 2 (Throwing) but also it is possible to reroll to wound (Sharp). In addition, it is a good tool against all those enemies with Dodge (such as Acrobat), because his Agility checkup must apply a -1 penalty for its Accurate. Note that although divide their attack between 2 different goals, only one of them could be applied Ricochet.

His other distance Boomerang is novelty: LE Boomerang, although the only thing different about it is that is Firearm and it damage is 100% lethal, unlike other Boomerangs they cause . Its main drawback is that in this case affects if he moves before shooting.

In melee this George also has something to say, despite his attack stops not be like a common Henchmen (Attack 3), his Melee Boomerang does not only apply double damage (), with the consequent loss of counters in the opponent that entails, but it lets him repeat to hurt.

In defensive section the only highlight is his Elusive, that in exchange for 1MC and passively will allow him to improve his Defense to 4 against ranged attacks until the end of the round.

The interesting thing is given in section Support/Control. One of the main reasons for their low cost, with his Endurance 5, is that it is limited in controlling objectives, as only Loot and Safe Boxes guarantee VP for them (Greed). Although this is not all bad, as his avarice is bonified in the case of the loot thanks to his Primary Target: Loot, but with his short range of action, his value 2 of movement and not be able to add equipment upgrades, they make this may not be such an easy task as in other characters with this trait (Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, Mr. Pink), taking into account that are deployed near the opponent's area (depending on the scenario).

In short, George "Digger" Harkness is a good character to harass rival from close range thanks to his Boomerangs and to shoot entirely covered by Monitoring Device (1SC). If you know choose which target to attack, it is quite possible to hurt, since his Master Marksman allows him to repeat failed impacts, and the Sharp of his Bladed Boomerang or the Firearm of LE Boomerang can assure wounds. In the defensive section, if Digger has been forced to leave their hiding place, he can still improve his Defense to 4 against ranged attacks thanks to be Elusive. Finally, the main characteristic note of this new Captain Boomerang is that the only goals that gives VP are those related to money: Loot and Safe, the first besides be his favourite and can scoring double for it (Primary Target: Loot), but to get it only has his Movement 2 and short-range weapons. Thus, the main weaknesses of this character are his Endurance 5, his Ammo 3 and not being able to score all the goals.

BMG: Analysis Diablo

Hi to everyone.
A moment ago Knight Models has unveiled the profile and the model of one of the members of this film version of the Suicide Squad: Diablo, who is also a free agent for the villains, with a cost of rather low reputation, although more expensive $200 in the budget of the band.
In the Offensive aspect it is where Chato Santana has huge potential, if his Regrets allow him because if successfully passes Willpower check, he cannot attack in any way during the round (neither using Flaming Wave). This means that characters with the trait Leadership must go near him if he doesn't want to look how him options are a drag on the band.

His 3 types of attacks (2 "weapons" and the Flaming Wave) all apply the Fire state, so if he focuses a rival who has already activated he can cause a lot of pain. In addition, his status as Dirty Fighter let's him to use ranged attacks in melee, and considering that his Flaming Hands already has ROF 1, the only one who would be penalized would be his Flaming Tattoos, but being Throwing can get away from their enemy and to attack with all their firing rate.

Looking with more detail his attacks, his Flamming Hands have the great advantage that being a template attack it is no mandatory to damage to apply the Fire effect, only impacting, which is automatic. For dealing damage he must trust in his Strength 4+ due to the weapon has no special trait modifying that roll. Due to the huge destructive power of the attack, it can only be used once per game.

His Flaming Tattoos are more a disturbance tool than a main attack, due to he has a -1 to impact rolls for being Imprecise and can only be used once time each two rounds (Reload), but without ammo limitation. Again, Chato must trust in his Strength for damaging, and on this case he has to do it for applying the Fire effect.

Lastly, the ranged attack done during his activation can be combined with his Flaming Wave (3SC), which in exchange of receiving , he can deal  to all the enemies damaging to 3+ surrounding him (Expansive template centered on him) in addition of applying them 1 additional Fire marker (which is also applied if the damage roll fails). That means that Diablo can apply up to 2 Fire markers to all the affected models, which can be translated in a minimum damage of 4 wounds (being able to be all of them lethal) at the end of the round if the enemy hasn't been able to remove fire markers during his/her activation.

To all this it must be added the Magic nature of his attacks (Flaming Wave included) because of being Supernatural, so enemies with the trait Invulnerable (Starfire), Incorporeal and Tough Skin (Killer Croc, Gotham Butcher, Swamp Thing) can't use them.

On the Defensive area, he can be an easy target against ranged attacks due to his Defense 3, but where he really highlights is in his immunity to mind control effects (as Hipnotice) thanks to his Self-Discipline, so he can be the worst enemy of Poison Ivy and Mad Hater. His Magic Tattoos grants him a plus of protection against enemies like him or Firefly because of being inmune to Fire, in addition it is also impossible to steal him his weapons (they are himself!).

Lastly, in terms of Support/Control, Chato can be a great ally for the medium-long range shooters of the team thanks to his Lantern (1SC), although in normal conditions it cannot be combined with his Flaming Tattoos (4SC), but it can be a good alternative for those rounds where he doesn't want to attack because of his Regrets.

On the case of Diablo, his Criminal condition is more a handicap than a help because when enhancing his Willpower, the changes of not attacking because of his Regrets are also increased.

Summarising, if his Regrets allow him, Diablo can combine his ranged attacks using his Flaming Hands in close combat due to being Dirty Fighter, or his Flaming Tattoos moving before thanks to be Throwing, with his Flaming Wave (3SC) for being able to deal at least 2 wounds and 2 Fire markers, which can be translated into 2 more . To all this it must be added that the Magic of his attacks can affect enemies as hard as Starfire (Invulnerable) or Killer Croc (Tough Skin), in addition with all the Incorporeal appearing in the game.

Although defensively he doesn't highlights, his Self-Discipline makes him somebody perfect por facing enemies with hypnotising skills.

But if he doesn't want to be a useless character moving around the battlefield, Diablo should be with a Leadership close to him for being able to repeat Willpower rolls, because if the succeed on them he wouldn't be able to attack due to his Regrets, and his Criminal condition is a handicap on him. It could be said that at least on those rounds that he can't attack, using his Lantern he can support his shooter mates. Talking with numbers, that means that he has a 58.33% of attacking, decreasing to 41.67% when Criminal is triggered.
