New range of miniatures
One of the biggest news of the announcement of BMG 2.0 has been the announcement of the change of production material to resin, taking out a new range of miniatures in "High Quality Colored Resin", according to concrete KM.
As we have seen in the images, the quality of the miniatures in this material is really high, in the absence of being able to see them more closely, with a spectacular level of detail. From the new range of miniatures we have been able to see the complete starters of the Joker and Batman, with a level of spectacular modeling in both cases, and with very competitive profiles, which are crowned as the new packs of beginning of the two crews:
This pack comes with the Joker Arkham Asylum, a version 2.0 of the first Joker AC that went on sale, retaining the same essence and with the same cost of reputation but with some changes compared to previous: a less ammunition of its fearsome "Explosive Teeth" but with new traits like Electric Hands, Joker's gas and Protect Me!, definitely better than the old version.

As for the henchmen that accompany him, highlight the clown with pistol and the Undercover (Bouffon), a profile that the band of the Joker will thank, for its advanced deployment and the one lacking to date. It will be perfect for throwing it at objectives or covering them with its range weapon of rof 5 and assault 3, a version of smaller range and power than the carbine. Also interesting is the clown White-Face, armed with a new ranged weapon with bayonet, Blunder, interesting by being cheap in dollars and able to make dust to other henchmen with low defenses (since it is Imprecise). The fourth member of the starter is perhaps the least striking, as the Joker crew already possessed a similar clown in cost and weapon (Clown Knife), but the previous one came with the trait Distract, a difficult skill to substitute, for such a cheap profile . However Hobo has more melee potential than the previous one, by one point less.

The Bat starter is composed of three well-armed Arkham Asylum guards, led by a new version of Batman, similar in profile and pose to the Arkham City version. As with the new version of the Joker, it shares the same essence as the previous one, but in this case five points cheaper and superior as far as equipment and traits are concerned.
The fundamental difference between the two versions would be at least ammunition point in the Batarangs, but with a smoke grenade to compensate, as well as the Mixed Combat Style (can shoot and attack in melee in the same turn) instead of the Martial Expert (Crt 4+ instead of 6+). The new version wins clearly.

About the guards that accompany him, could be said that they are a reduced version of the Quick Response Team, more adjusted in points, but not less competitive. It emphasizes the guard with assault rifle, since to date the bands of heroes didn't have any.

Analysis Gotham City Sirens Starter Set
This new starter arrives eagerly awaiting for a crew that was stagnant, at least as far as releasesis concerned, making this release one of the crews that are probably the most competitive at the 2.0 edition.
Why do we think the Sirens are so competitive? To get started, if they go together they have traits that considerably enhance each other, such as "The song of the Siren", "Chaotic friends" or "Planning the move", each of them more brutal: the first one "Bodyguard" to all the henchmen for Sirens, the second "Unpredictable" at three, and the third all have "Primary target X", which are some of the best traits in the game.
In addition, one of the reasons why it breaks with the stagnation of this crew is that this Ivy has the trait "Possessed", with which it will be able to recruit up to three henchmen of any crew, with which she will has at her disposal to the best henchmen of the game, with the only downside that will has a -1 to it willpower.
The Harley Quinn that accompanies this starter we could say that is an improved version of the Harley AC, because for 68pts, 7pts difference, owns (and gives the rest of Sirens) Unpredictable trait, in addition to armed with a Twin Guns, in addition of the bat, although we will also have to pay the cost of 300$.
About Catwoman we can say the same as the previous ones, which is an improved version of her predecessor AC, in this case with one more point of movement and the trait Sneaking, what it lacked to be perfect, and also for the same cost as the previous one.
The plants that accompany this starter, also improved versions of the previous ones, come with some very interesting characteristics, different from the previous ones, which seemed difficult. In short, very competitive versions in relation to quality/price.
Bane, in spite of the high cost, has a very interesting profile, since it contributes to his crew a strategic factor, a great melee that is one of the best of the game, along with an exceptional resistance, which makes him fearsome in table.
Special attention to his ability 'I will break you', which allows you to have different options that we can choose according to our style of play.
As for the mercenaries who accompany him, say they are probably the best we have seen so far, though they all 'Elite: Soldier of Fortune'.
Kabuto, armed with a katana and Undercover trait, will bring the mobility that this crew needed, perfect to attack the objectives or defend them with solvency thanks to his defense four and Stealth.
The second of them, armed with a rifle, the third rifle that disposes of this crew, is the most lethal for his Shooter trait, being that in addition he can be equipped with Night Vision, probably one of the most fearsome of the game.
And the last of them, armed with Tomahawks, is the deadliest melee and also being a particularly tough character, thanks to his light armor and endurance far superior to any henchman, brutal!
Analysis Black Gate Prisoners
This third prisoner starter is probably the most competitive quality/price of the three that have been released to date, since all of them are 100% playable, and in addition is among them a new version of High Security that we are sure will be playing a lot in tournaments, because he brings a generic Hidden to many bands of villains who did not possess this type of profile.
Also noteworthy is the prisoner armed with carbine, which by only 18pts can reinforce very little to the bands that lacked variety in shotguns, being a very interesting option.
The prisoner with automatic pistol is also a very good option, ideal to defend sewers and an essential option in crewa with Maroni in command.
The last prisoner we comment on is a very useful option in terms of melee, much higher by the points that cost the henchmen in him range.
